Marc Walton Laboratory - OCT System
I played a key role as an AI Data Processing & Research Assistant at the Marc Walton Laboratory in HKU, focusing on photo conservation. My responsibilities included assembling a custom Visible Light Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) system and developing Python closed-loop control software. Additionally, I conducted advanced signal processing using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to reconstruct ultra-high resolution en-face images.

Currently Building
My colleagues and I are currently hard at work on our latest project, and I look forward to updating this space with our full results once it concludes. Our day-to-day involves building optical equipment from the ground up, establishing closed-loop control systems, researching Köhler Illumination, and navigating complex technical problem-solving in optical design. Alongside this hands-on lab work, I am also actively learning vibe coding to further expand my technical toolkit. Great things are in the works—stay tuned!
